Terrific Thursdays are back with special in-store events, discounts, and treats at more than 20 shops, restaurants, and services. Join DeKalb History Center staff and volunteers for a walking tour of downtown Decatur. The topic will be “Architecture overview of Decatur 1830-1965” This tour will cover Decatur Recreation Center, the High House, and other previously hidden architectural gems. Total walking, 1 mi. Decatur Wine Festival 2018 will be held on November 3rd from 12:30-4:30 p.m. on the square in Downtown Decatur and the event is Rain or Shine. Taste wines from around the globe, sample delicious food from Decatur-area restaurants, and enjoy tunes at metro Atlantas largest outdoor wine festival. Proceeds benefit the Decatur Arts Alliance, which produces the Decatur Arts Festival and many other arts events, free to the community each year. Tickets available here.
