Rocklyn Homes celebrated two of its sales team at the 2020 OBIE Awards, held on October 25th. From 1980, these awards have been presented each year by the Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association and Sales and Marketing Council; the awards recognize outstanding achievement in the home building industry. Over the years, the program has grown and now includes more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing, and personal achievement categories. Named after the award’s obelisk shape, the OBIE Awards are considered a premier award in the Atlanta home building industry.
Bringing home the Rookie Sales Person of the Year was Aja Caffey. Aja, a Community Sales Manager at Stone Mill has achieved success the hard way and it has been a double blessing for Aja. It’s allowed her to help deserving people purchase beautiful new homes. And it’s provided more opportunity for her and her children.
Aja combined customer service experience with business skills and a passion for residential real estate to become a sales powerhouse for Rocklyn Homes. “For buyers, any home will have its pros and cons. What matters is the perspective I help them bring to those concerns,” she adds.
Her drive, focused execution, and passion for the work made her the perfect choice for Rookie Salesperson of the Year. From June 2019 to June 2020, Aja closed (51)homes/lots, with a dollar value of $10,455,000.

Rocklyn Homes nominated Laura Brown for Mortgage Professional of the Year. She brought home the award with ease. If you ask Laura Brown about her work, she will probably tell you about how she likes to help people reach their goal of homeownership but, her ability to maintain her sales volume is impressive. Last year, Laura worked with eight to ten Rocklyn Homes communities, and in 2020 will be working with nine to eleven communities. Her dedication to her clients shines brightly as reflected in her June 2019 to June 2020 numbers of 348 closings with a dollar value of $70,916,715.
