Where to see Fireworks in Gwinnett County this 4th – Minutes from a NEW Rocklyn Home

The 4th of July is America’s best loved holiday with barbeques, food trucks, parades and of course, fireworks!  Here is where all the action is this year!

In an article written in the AJC.com, the top places to see fireworks in Gwinnett County are :

JULY 3rd – Lawrenceville’s Prelude to the Fourth Festivities are held on the Lawrenceville Lawn and begin at 7 p.m. – when Lawrenceville’s renowned Aurora Theatre and a full orchestra starts its live performance of “The Little Mermaid.”

July 3rd – 4 PM  Red, White & Boom in NorcrossThe city of Norcross’ celebration begins at 4 p.m. on July 3rd and will include food vendors, bounce houses and “festive face painting.” A DJ will perform live in Lillian Webb Park from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

July 3rd – 6:00 PM  Sparks in the Park in Sugar HillThe city of Sugar Hill will celebrate Independence Day on July 3rd.  Festivities at E.E. Robinson Park begin at 6 p.m. and include food trucks and a Jimmy Buffett cover band. Fireworks begin around 9:15 p.m. and blankets, lawn chairs and coolers are permitted. E.E. Robinson Park is located at 850 Level Creek Road.

July 3rd – Duluth Celebrates America Festivities will be held on the town green from 6 to 11 p.m. and include two live bands, food trucks and children’s activities. Fireworks begin at 10 p.m.

On Monday, July 4th – The 14th Annual Star Spangled Fourth at the Mall of Georgiawill host Gwinnett’s largest fireworks display, live music and a movie after. Festivities begin at 5 p.m., with fireworks scheduled to begin at dusk. “Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2” will be shown post-fireworks on a 70-foot screen. Admission is free. The Mall of Georgia is at 3333 Buford Drive NE in Buford.

The city of Lilburn will hold its annual Sparkle in the Park in Lilburn with festivities beginning at 5:30 p.m. on July 4th.  Enjoy balloon artists, family photos, food trucks and a “high-energy, family-friendly concert” from musical artist GLOW.  Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be accompanied by patriotic music.

Star-Spangled Snellville July 4th starting at 4 p.m Come enjoy food, inflatables, a water slide and more. Live music will feature a pair of local bands and fireworks are scheduled for dusk — around 9:30 p.m.

Gwinnett Braves post-game fireworksThe Gwinnett Braves will also have a July 4th fireworks show after their game against Norfolk, which begins at 7:05 p.m.  Coolray Field is located at 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville.
